How to Become a Member
Membership is simple and free! Plant a patch of at least 12 common milkweed plants somewhere in your garden. Rember to use common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca), not butterfly weed or swamp milkweed (see FAQs for more information). Then email us of your garden (with yourself in it if you like) and we will add you to our member profiles on our website! You don't have to have a certified Monarch Waystation, but we can help you grow one if that is your goal! Don't worry if your plants are small. Milkweed plants take several years to mature. If you already have milkweed in your garden, fabulous! Join and add your profile to encourage others to help make Ann Arbor a haven for monarchs. You will also receive emails about club events and tutorials, the Fourth of July parade, and newsworthy information about monarch butterflies. Join us!
